Writer's Journey to complete Reapers: The Last Warning

Everyone,

             Hello my name is Carlos Sanders and I'm in the process of writing a Science Fiction Novel called Reapers.  I would consider myself to be creative and to have a pretty good imagination, but I am not a polish writer by any means. Now that the disclaimer is out there, I have a desire to put my imagination in the form of something tangible to share with others.  I plan on posting different chapters on this blog page as I complete them. I hope that many will join me on this journey and maybe even start your own journey in this year of 2013.  I know that their must be an idea that you have been holding on to, something beautiful and with uncap potential, but you have been procrastinating on its hidden value just like me. Well no more excuses and let’s forget about fear this year, its time to just do it.  So come along with me as I attempt my first novel. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. 

So what is Reapers all about:

“Reapers is a fictional book that takes a turn from the classic vampire vs. werewolves or vampires vs. humans or vampire love stories; but it adds a unique spin on the saga of vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures.  The story follows the life of a man name Peter who is dying of stage IV Lymphoma cancer, on the night that he was died, he was presented with a life altering choice. That night Peter would be confronted by a Reaper that came for his soul, but instead of reaping his soul, the Reaper gave Peter a proposition, the Reaper offered Peter 75 more years of cancer free life, but he must use part of this time to record all that was to come.  A warning was coming to all minions, starting with the vampires that have preyed and fed on humans trapping their souls for centuries, changing the course of how mankind was intended to spend eternity, for every life that the vampire takes or turns, it changes the course even more for the worst, from the beginning of time it has always been about the souls of man and the Reapers will no longer stand by to watch it be demeaned by these monstrosities, a warning was sent out to all vampire through the founding family that a change was coming and if one more human soul is trapped due to a vampire there will be consequences that are unimaginable for all vampire.“

Above is a quick summary of my first book, but no where close to where I plan on taking the series. It's going to be great journey. Constructive criticism is welcome!
